The Espion InterceptorTM configured with MX Lock is the best email security and compliance-enforcement device. MX Lock administers a feature-rich environment of customizable controls that enable forced compliance to custom IT policies on outbound email. Outbound email is encrypted using dual-key encryption, a method used by many governmental agencies and the military, ensuring the highest level of customizable security for email carrying confidential and proprietary information.

It is your most comprehensive solution for compliance enforcement and stopping intentional or accidental violations of the following:
- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) - Section 501
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 - Section 13400
- Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act (ARRA) of 2009 - Section 13400
MX Lock implements the most advanced algorithms to create a cipher system that encrypts data before it is sent over the Internet. The Interceptor converts data to an unintelligible form called ciphertext which is decrypted on the email receiver's side converting the data back to it's original form. On the receiver's side, the email and any attachments are decrypted only when the recipient presents unique credentials.
Clients can now send emails of any size, with virtually no size limit for attachments, regardless of those limitations imposed by the mail server. MX Lock provides an added bonus to the performance of the mail server. The Interceptor stores all outbound email and attachments locally in an encrypted form, off-loading the mail server. The Interceptor also provides an trail of secure traffic through MX Lock - readily available for a HIPAA or GLBA audit.
