As a leader in adaptive, machine-learning technologies, the Espion CounterHactivism Lab™ has developed Espion Probabilistic Reasoning (EPR). This proprietary adaptive, learning engine is able to make intelligent decisions on over 95% of incoming SMTP traffic. This proven method for analyzing email allows the Espion Interceptor to quickly remove and quarantine unwanted email, with little to no False Positives. EPR is the first engine to be able to balance efficiency with effectiveness to meet the required throughputs for enterprise clients, while also doing deeper analysis than any other type of A.I. based tool.

SECURE
The Interceptor's platform was originally designed to defend vulnerable email servers from malicious activity. The common theme Espion observed in most companies was open access from the Internet to internal SMTP and web mail servers, giving hackers a gateway to sensitive company resources and information. Espion has addressed these security issues by creating a solid platform based on a hardened kernel and secure operating system with robust proxy services designed to act as a buttress for internal servers. This foundation is strengthened by the addition of Intrusion Prevention rules, recognition of signature-based attacks and redundant virus scanning; creating a best-of-class secure email gateway that can protect any type of email system.
